The music of Marko Perkovic – Thompson represents the fusion of rock and folk, bringing powerful lyrics that celebrate Croatian history, nature, and Biblical values. About 90% of the audience were young people. In other words, there were more than 50,000 older people – not bad! But the sheer record number of half a million of attendees, though interesting in itself, is not the most interesting. The most interesting is in fact the reason of the gathering: the verses of Thompson’s songs, speaking primarily about God, Family, and Homeland. Marko Perković Thompson and his wife Sandra are blessed with five children. |
