Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107 declared Honorary Academician in Italy<\/b><\/font><\/p>\n

In May 2025, the renowned Croatian pianist and writer, Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107 from Dubrovnik, spent her third time in Apulia in Sannicandro di Bari as part of the jury of the famous international competition, which she chaired again in the imposing Castello Normanno-Svevo fortress. The competition is named Premio Ezio Bosso<\/i> after the early passing of the brilliant musician, conductor, composer, pianist and, above all, humanist from Turin, Ezio Bosso. The sister of the celebrated and brilliant musician Ivana Bosso became the honorary president of
this competition as part of this year’s event, and our fellow citizen pianist Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107 was awarded the title of honorary Academician “Accademico ad honorem” by the Academy Senate, which is the first such title abroad for a citizen of the city of Dubrovnik.<\/p>\n

The Academy, which honors the great Seneca with its advisor writer Dr. Laura Pavia and whose president is Academician Dr. Massimo Massa, was motivated for several reasons to nominate Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107. The motivation letter states:<\/p>\n

We are appointing Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107 as an Honorary Academician because of her extraordinary talent, primarily as a pianist, because of her dedication to music and culture in general, because of the international reputation she has achieved during her career so far. An artist of rare dedication to music and sensibility, Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107 enchants audiences around the world. With her expressiveness and mastery, interpreting a repertoire that ranges from great classics to contemporary composers, many of whom have dedicated their works to her. Persistence and determination have always accompanied her, and her perseverance adorned her even when she continued her studies despite personal and historical difficulties. All virtues are a source of inspiration for young generations. Motivated by what was written, the Senate of the Academy with its headquarters in Bari unquestionably and solemnly appoints her the title of Honorary Academician under number 76\/25.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We would like to emphasize that this is the first such honorary title of Academician
abroad for a citizen of the city of Dubrovnik<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107 progla\u0161ena po\u010dasnom Akademkinjom u Republici Italiji<\/b><\/font>

Sibnja 2025 je priznata hrvatska pijanistica i knji\u017eevnica, Dubrovkinja Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107 provela u Apuliji u Sannicandru di Bari u \u017eiriju glasovitog me\u0111unarodnog natjecanja po tre\u0107i put \u010dijim je \u017eirijem ponovno predsjedala u impozantnom tvr\u0111avi Castello Normanno-Svevo. Natjecanje nosi naziv Premio Ezio Bosso<\/i> prema rano preminulom genijalnom glazbeniku, dirigentu, skladatelju, pijanisti ali nadasve humanisti iz Torina, Eziju Bossu. Sestra proslavljenog i sjajnog glazbenika Ivana Bosso postala je u sklopu ovogodi\u0161nje manifestacije po\u010dasna predsjednica ovog natjecanja, a na\u0161oj sugra\u0111anki pijanistici Ivani Mariji Vidovi\u0107 je senat Akademije uru\u010dio titulu po\u010dasne Akademkinje – Accademico ad honorem, \u0161to je prva takva titula u inozemstvu za nekog gra\u0111anina grada Dubrovnika.<\/p>\n

Akademija koja \u010dasti velikog Senecu sa savjetnicom spisateljicom dr. Laurom Pavia a \u010diji je predsjednik akademik dr. Massimo Massa motiviran je iz vi\u0161e razloga za ovu nominaciju Ivani Mariji Vidovi\u0107. U pismu obrazlo\u017eenja motivacije stoji:<\/p>\n

Imenujemo po\u010dasnom Akademkinjom Ivanu Mariju Vidovi\u0107 zbog njenog izvanrednog talenta u prvom redu kao pijanistice,zbog njenog posve\u0107enja glazbi i kulturi op\u0107enito, zbog me\u0111unarodnog ugleda kojeg je postigla tijekom svoje dosada\u0161nje karijere. Umjetnica rijetke predanosti glazbi i senzibilnosti, Ivana Marija Vidovi\u0107 o\u010darava publiku diljem svijeta. Svojom izra\u017eajno\u0161\u0107u i majstorstvom, interpretiraju\u0107i repertoar koji se kre\u0107e od velikih klasika do suvremenih skladatelja od kojih su mnogi posvetili svoja djela upravo njoj. Upornost i odlu\u010dnost prate ju oduvijek i njena ustrajnost krasila ju je i kad je nastavila svoj studij unato\u010d osobnim i povijesnim pote\u0161ko\u0107ama. Sve vrline su izvor inspiracije za mlade generacije i nara\u0161taje. Motivirani napisanim Senat Akademije sa svojim sjedi\u0161tem u Bariju ju neupitno i sve\u010dano imenuje naslovom po\u010dasne Akademkinje pod brojem 76\/25.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
