50thANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION

TheCroatian Academy of America will celebrate its 50^th anniversary inNew York City, Saturday, May 17,2003.  Theevent will take place in The New York Hilton Hotel, 1335 Avenue of the Americas(between 53^rd and 54^th Streets). This is the same hotel in which numerous Academy assemblies and meetingshave been held over past decades, including the memorable 40^thanniversary celebration in 1993 and several important encounters. 

TheKeynote speaker and guest of honor will be Dr. Jasna Helena Mencer, Rector ofthe University of Zagreb who will address the audience in English. The program also includes a recital by Krunoslav Cigoj.  

Thegala dinner will start at 7 pm.  Reservationsshould be made before May 10.
