Le Choeur des Jeunes de Casablanca, Maroc, interprete ici un chant populaire de Croatie, Vuprem Oči.
Il est bien sur dirigé par Adnane Matrone ce 21 Mars 2009 a Casablanca.

Vuprem oči is a very tender and poetic Croatian folk song from the region of Međimurje on the north of Croatia. Its simple melody follows a pentatonic pattern, so typical for this part of Croatia. We express our deep gratitude to Professor Krešimir Veselić, distinguished Croatian mathematician, who informed us about popularity of this song in France. We also owe our sincere gratitude to numerous French choirs and their conductors for their exceptional perfomances. Moreover, they sing this song in Croatian! This song is a jewel of the European cultural landscape.
It would be of interest to know from when and how Vuprem oči became known in France.
There is another Croatian tune, U Boj, from the opera Nikola Šubić Zrinski composed by Ivan pl. Zajc in the 19th century, which became surprisingly poupular in Japan already since 1919!
As we see, true music does not know of borders, despite cultural differences and language difficulties.
