| Croatian Esperanto literature has its beginnings since 1908. Croatian Esperanto-League (KEL, Kroata Esperanto-Ligo, Hrvatski espernatski savez) was founded in Zagreb in 1909. Many Croatian literary books have been translated into various languages worldwide due to their translations into Esperanto. Especially interesting are translations into Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Bengali, and Parsi languages. So, for example, children of Bengal can read Strange Adventures of Apprentice Hlapić by Ivana Brlić Mažuranić due to its translation from Croatian into Esperanto. |

The book was translated into Chinese in 1931 by Wang Luyan, published in Shanghai. See the photo below.
It is the earliest known Chinese translation of a Croatian book.
The town of Hrvatska Kostajnica was severely damaged during the 1991-1995 Serbian aggression on Croatia.

The book Nesenditaj leteroj al Japanio (Non-sent Letters to Japan) was written in Croatia’s capital Zagreb by Mrs.
Spomenka Štimec. It was was published by the Hukuoka Espernato-Society, Japan, in Hukuoka in 1990.
It was translated into Japanese by Mori Singo in 1991, and issued by the same publisher.
The book was translated from Japanese into Chinese by Geng Tie Zhen,
and published by the Technical University in Harbin, China, in 1992.

Suator je udžbenika esperanta po zagrebačkoj metodi Esperanto – Lernolibro de la internacioa lingvo (Esperanto – udžbenik međunarodnog jezika), Zagreb 1979. Dosad je tiskano devet izdanja na hrvatskom i trideset inozemnih izdanja na raznim jezicima.
Autorica je udžbenika Esperanto ne estas nur lingvo (Esperanto nije samo jezik), Zagreb. Tiskana su četiri izdanja na hrvatskom i kinesko izdanje 2001. u Unutarnjoj Mongoliji.
